Magic Hat - Pyramid Merger

SEATTLE & BURLINGTON, Vt.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Independent Brewers United, Inc., the parent of Magic Hat Brewing Company & Performing Arts Center, Inc. ("Magic Hat"), and Pyramid Breweries Inc. (NASDAQ:PMID) ("Pyramid") today jointly announced the execution of a definitive merger agreement that contemplates, among other things, a tender offer to purchase all of Pyramid's outstanding common stock for $2.75 per share in cash, or approximately $25.7 million in total purchase price.

Big Brew This Saturday!

BIG BREW IS SAT MAY 3rd - LOCATED AT:
4424 Starflower Dr Fort Collins CO 80526 between the hours of 8am to 7pm. See below for equipment sign up stations!
Just a friendly reminder that Big Brew is coming up on Saturday May 3rd from 8 AM to 7 PM. The festivities this year will be held at my house in South Fort Collins.
Once again, Hops and Berries is sponsoring this event by providing brats, buns, beers and other beverages. So make sure to thank Colin and Shannon for the grillables and the cool refreshing beverages! Please feel free to bring a side dish or something to share.
We plan on having some "Brewing Stations" setup, so if you do not have gear to bring, or your gear is not super portable, we should have a sign up list soon to get on a list to use a burner, kettle, mashtun, chiller and other gear. If you do plan on bringing gear, and are willing to let other people use it for a morning or afternoon time slot, please let me know. (You can email at lp.eventscoordinater @ gmail.com)
It should be tons of fun and hopefully the weather cooperates. Even if you are not planning on brewing, stop by and say hello. Last year we brewed 200 gallons of beer and mead in one day, lets CRUSH that number this year!

Even though doctors always stress the bad side of consuming alcoholic drinks, drinking beer in moderation can be medicine. Beer lovers can put a smile of their faces, because it has been scientifically proven that beer has its positive effects on health. Of course, this is connected to drinking in moderation.

Pug Ryan's to can medal-winning beer

DILLON - There's a certain allure to popping open a can of suds at home after a long day working or skiing. Glass can break and hanging out in a bar can be expensive, so aluminum storage is sometimes preferred.
The one catch is the lack of a good, local microbrew in a can. Enter Pug Ryan's.
